The SNL Center for Financial Education has contract opportunities for experienced investment bankers, private equity investors, securities analysts, and/or industry professionals to periodically teach open enrollment training seminars on various industry specific accounting and finance topics. The course will be delivered 2-3 times per year in public open enrollment courses and 2-3 times per year on-site at major insurance companies and investment banks for a total of 12-18 training days per year. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in valuing insurance carriers for either control or minority stake investing purposes. In addition, preference will be given to a candidate with subject matter expertise in both Life and P&C companies; expertise in one or the other may also qualify. The candidate must possess superior technical skills and be able to build and/or explain thoroughly and clearly the use of a dividend discount or discounted cash flow model.
